HOW DO I ORDER A WEDDING CAKE?
The first step is to fill out an inquiry form and we will take it from there. When you submit this inquiry form this allows us to check your date and our availability so be as accurate as possible. If you haven't picked a venue or date yet do that first and then head back here as those are two very crucial details for us. We often say the more details you can give initially the better! So don't be shy here - it's an exciting time and we are so honored to be a part of it!
WHEN SHOULD I ORDER MY WEDDING CAKE?
This is a tricky question because we always try and accommodate last minute requests but once a date is fully booked we stop taking orders. If you’re wondering whether your date is still open, please fill out an inquiry form and we’ll let you know what our availability for your date is. If you are wanting delivery and set-up it is best to book well in advance as these options are more limited. Most of our couples book 6-8 months in advance for large weddings. However, we do not book more than 2 years out.
HOW MUCH WILL MY WEDDING CAKE COST?
Wedding cakes come in all different flavors, sizes and designs, and sometimes a wedding cake isn't even a cake at all it's a cupcake or sweets table! So while our traditional 3+ tiered cakes start at $6 a serving, we also have cutting cakes that start at $50. Be open and honest with us about your budget and "must-haves" and we can make the best recommendations for you. Something to also note is that since the cake consultation may take place early on in the wedding planning process you likely won't have your final guest list yet, and that's 100% okay! Sizing is something we can update closer to your wedding date so that you're not providing cake for guests that won't even be in attendance.
DO YOU OFFER TASTINGS?
We do! This is the best part of the wedding planning process! We have a few different options depending on the size of your order and our availability. We have a Deconstructed Tasting Box that is $45 and is only available for larger cake/cupcake orders and must be scheduled ahead of time, or we also always carry a daily selection of cupcakes that are made from the exact same recipes as our cakes in 8-10 different flavors that you can stop by and try at any time.
Should you opt for the deconstructed tasting box you'll find we do things a little differently. We provide 6 of our most popular cakes, 4 different buttercreams and two seasonal fillings. The benefit of everything being deconstructed is being able to taste the individual parts that make up a slice of cake (cake, filling, and frosting) separately and being able to mix and match those three parts as you taste in whichever way you would like. You get to open a box full of fun, custom flavor combinations! We do not offer dessert tastings. At this time we are offering Tasting Boxes on Saturdays only and completing consultations over phone/email.
CAN I DROP BY AND CHAT ABOUT A WEDDING CAKE AT ANY TIME?
Most of the time our cake designers are doing just that - designing and building cakes. We are a tiny but mighty bakery and we stay very busy. Please schedule consultations beforehand as your wedding cake is the most important cake you will ever order and we want to be able to give you all of our attention.
WHAT ARE SOME THINGS YOU DON'T DO?
We do not do fondant heavy character/logo or copyrighted themed cakes.
We also do not allow desserts or cakes from other bakeries to be set up on the same table as our dessert/cakes to protect our brand.
DO YOU OFFER DELIVERY & SET-UP?
Depending on the size of your order and our current availability we do offer delivery and set-up options. We will provide an estimate that will include our time to bring the cake to your venue, decorate the dessert table with the items you have provided, apply any non-edible items to the cake, and set out your desserts. Minimum order to qualify for delivery is $600.
